Finding the Best Partners for Your Nonprofit
Many nonprofits have trouble finding the right partners. In fact, based on last week's poll 35.3% of you say that finding the right partners/influencers is your biggest problem when trying to work with others. That's why I'm sharing these tips. Good partners can help your nonprofit do more good work!
Here's how to find great partners:
Know what you need
- Think about what your nonprofit does best
- List what kind of help you want
Look in the right places
- Go to events where people care about your cause
- Join online groups that talk about your work
โ
|
|
Use the internet
- Look at social media to find people who talk about your cause
- Check out websites of companies that might want to help
Ask around
- Talk to other nonprofits about who helps them
- Ask your volunteers if they know any good partners
Make a good first impression
- Tell your story in a simple, exciting way
- Show how working together can help both of you
Remember, good partners are out there! Keep looking and you'll find them.
